PVC Recovery

Give Clean PVC Scrap a Second Life

Tetcore accepts select clean, source-separated PVC scrap at our Central Texas facility in Hutto, Texas for consolidation and eventual recycling.

Our program is designed exclusively for manufacturers, fabricators, distributors, contractors and other businesses generating clean, identifiable PVC material with recoverable value.

We are not a landfill, waste transfer station, public dump or general construction-debris facility.
All material must meet Tetcore’s acceptance standards and must be approved before delivery.

Free Drop-Off for Approved Material

There is no disposal or tipping fee for loads that have been reviewed and approved by Tetcore in advance.

No appointment. No approval. No drop-off.

Tetcore reserves the absolute right to inspect, reject or require removal of any material that does not conform to the material represented during the approval process.

What We Accept

Our primary focus is clean, rigid PVC scrap suitable for commercial recycling. Examples may include:

  • Clean PVC pipe cutoffs
  • Unused or rejected PVC pipe
  • Clean PVC electrical conduit
  • PVC fittings and fitting-production scrap
  • Rigid PVC extrusion scrap
  • Window and door profile scrap
  • Vinyl profile cutoffs
  • Clean PVC sheet scrap
  • Clean manufacturing trim and production scrap
  • Off-specification or rejected finished PVC products
  • Other clean, identifiable rigid PVC (approved by Tetcore)

Acceptance is never automatic. All material requires prior approval.

Our Quality Standard

Tetcore is building a premium PVC recovery stream — not a mixed-plastics scrap yard.

Material should be:

Clean. Dry. Source-separated. Identifiable. Non-hazardous. Uncontaminated.

Whenever possible, material should originate directly from manufacturing, fabrication, distribution, installation or other commercial operations where its composition and prior use can be reasonably established.

Tetcore may request photographs, product information, SDS/TDS documentation, resin identification, information regarding prior use, or samples before approving a load.

Materials We Do Not Accept

Tetcore maintains a deliberately conservative acceptance policy.

⛔ Do Not Deliver:

  • Household garbage or municipal solid waste
  • General construction or demolition debris
  • Mixed dumpsters or mixed waste loads
  • Unsorted mixed plastics
  • Material of unknown polymer composition
  • Material of unknown origin or prior use
  • Soil, rocks, concrete, wood, paper or excessive foreign material
  • Wet, muddy or excessively dirty PVC
  • PVC containing oils, grease or petroleum residue
  • Material contaminated by chemicals, solvents, pesticides or hazardous substances
  • Pipe or containers previously used to transport or store chemicals
  • Medical or healthcare waste
  • Biohazardous material
  • Sewage-contaminated or sanitary-waste material
  • Burned, charred or fire-damaged material
  • Material with strong or unexplained odors
  • Asbestos-containing material
  • Lead-contaminated material
  • Electronic waste
  • Batteries
  • Pressurized containers
  • Liquids of any kind
  • Unknown powders, residues or sludge
  • Any hazardous, regulated or potentially contaminated waste
  • Any material Tetcore determines is unsuitable for safe storage, handling, transportation or recycling

When in doubt, we do not accept it.

Tetcore may establish additional restrictions based on the source, application, formulation, condition or intended recycling market of the material.

Pre-Approval Is Required

Tetcore does not accept unannounced drop-offs. Before bringing material to our Hutto facility, please submit:

1
Company name and contact information
2
Material type and description
3
Source of the material
4
What the material was originally used for
5
Approximate quantity
6
Estimated frequency of generation
7
Clear photographs of the material
8
Whether the material has ever contacted chemicals, liquids, waste or other contaminants
9
SDS, TDS or product specifications when available

Additional documentation or a representative sample may be requested. Approval applies only to the material reviewed.

Approval of one load does not constitute blanket approval of future material. Changes in source, composition, appearance, contamination level or manufacturing process must be disclosed before delivery.

At Delivery

Every load remains subject to inspection. Tetcore reserves the right to reject an entire load if the delivered material differs from the photographs, samples, documentation or description provided during pre-approval.

The supplier remains responsible for any rejected material and for its immediate removal and lawful disposition.

Dropping material at the property without authorization is strictly prohibited. Leaving unapproved material, waste or material outside designated receiving areas is prohibited and may be treated as unauthorized dumping.

Designed for Industrial PVC Generators

Our program is particularly suited for businesses that regularly generate clean PVC scrap, including:

PVC Pipe & Fitting Manufacturers

Production scrap, pipe ends, rejected products and clean off-spec material.

Window & Profile Manufacturers

Rigid vinyl extrusion cutoffs, profiles and fabrication scrap.

Plastic Fabricators

Clean PVC sheet, machining and fabrication remnants.

Electrical Contractors & Distributors

Clean, unused PVC conduit cutoffs and damaged inventory.

Plumbing & Utility Contractors

Clean pipe cutoffs and unused project surplus.

Building Material Distributors

Damaged, obsolete or otherwise unsaleable clean PVC inventory.

For recurring industrial generators, Tetcore can evaluate establishing an ongoing recovery program with predetermined material specifications.

What Happens to the Material?

Approved PVC is received as a source-separated recyclable material and consolidated for transfer to qualified recycling and processing markets.

Our objective is simple:

Recover useful PVC. Keep it clean. Preserve its value. Return it to productive use.

Depending on material specifications and market requirements, recovered PVC may ultimately be sorted, processed, ground, compounded or otherwise prepared for use as recycled polymer feedstock. Tetcore works to develop domestic and international outlets for recoverable polymer materials.

Have Clean PVC Scrap?

Before sending it to a landfill, talk to Tetcore. If your company generates clean, consistent PVC scrap, we would like to evaluate it.
